Alchemist System — Transferring Item Options

Two special Alchemist NPCs are available on the ATLANTA map. They allow players to transfer selected options from one item to another.

Alchemist Locations

Regular Alchemist

Map: ATLANTA
Coordinates: 135, 154
Cost: 500 WCoinC
Success rate: 50%
Access: Available to all players.

VIP Alchemist

Map: ATLANTA
Coordinates: 153, 134
Cost: 500 WCoinC
Success rate: 100%
Access: Available only to VIP accounts.

How to Use the Alchemist

Approach the selected Alchemist NPC and click on it. A standard trade window will open.

You must place exactly two items inside the trade window.

Left Side — Main Item

Place the item you want to improve on the left side of the trade window.

This is the main item. It will receive the transferred options.

Right Side — Donor Item

Place the item containing the desired options on the right side of the trade window.

This is the donor item. Its transferred options will be removed or reduced after the operation.

Do not place both items on the same side. One item must be placed on the left side and the other item on the right side.

After placing both items correctly, confirm the trade to begin the transmutation.

Options That Can Be Transferred

The Alchemist can transfer the following item properties:

item level from +0 up to +15;
additional option up to +28;
Luck;
Skill;
Excellent options.

The Alchemist transfers only options that are enabled by the system and that are not already present on the main item.

For example, if the main item already has Luck, another Luck option cannot be added.

Item Requirements

Both items must belong to the same item category.

Examples of valid combinations:

sword with sword;
bow with bow;
staff with staff;
shield with shield;
helm with helm;
armor with armor;
pants with pants;
gloves with gloves;
boots with boots.

Examples of invalid combinations:

sword with staff;
bow with sword;
armor with helm;
gloves with boots.

Weapons and armor set parts can be used. Ancient items are also accepted.

Successful Transmutation

When the transmutation is successful, the available options are transferred from the donor item on the right to the main item on the left.

Example:

The transferred options are removed from the donor item.

The donor item does not transform into the main item. Its name, model and item type remain unchanged. Only its available properties are changed.

Failed Transmutation

The regular Alchemist has a 50% success rate.

When the transmutation fails:

the main item does not receive any options;
the main item remains unchanged;
the options selected for transfer are removed from the donor item;
the operation cost is still deducted.

Using the regular Alchemist therefore involves the risk of losing options from the donor item.

The VIP Alchemist has a 100% success rate. When all requirements are met, the operation will always succeed.

Important Information

Before confirming the operation, make sure that:

The main item is placed on the left side.
The donor item is placed on the right side.
There are exactly two items in the trade window.
Both items belong to the same category.
The donor item has options that can be transferred.
Your character has enough Zen and PC Points.
Your inventory has enough free space to receive both items.

If the donor item has no available options to transfer, the operation will be cancelled.

If the main item already has the maximum available properties, the corresponding options cannot be transferred.

Quick Example

A player wants to transfer Luck and Excellent options from one sword to another.

Open the trade window with the Alchemist.
Place the main sword on the left side.
Place the donor sword on the right side.
Confirm the trade.
On success, Luck and the available Excellent options are transferred to the main sword.
The transferred options are removed from the donor sword.
